TANIA DA GRAÇA
I am a visual artist, born in Évora (1987), and I am currently completing a degree in Fine Arts and Multimedia at the University of Évora. In 2008, I took a portfolio development course at Lewisham Community College in London — which paved the way for my acceptance into the University of the Arts London (UAL), where I completed the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design in 2010.
My artistic practice is rooted in experimentation and the in-depth exploration of materials, with a particular focus on printmaking — a technique that allows me to delve into connections with other disciplines, such as painting, photography, and collage. I enjoy incorporating repurposed materials into my work and draw significant inspiration from observing abandoned buildings, particularly the unique aesthetic of industrial spaces.
